Hello.

Jeff again.
I wanted to pay the fees online, but apparently one can't apply from outside of Canada. Is this correct?

Thanks again!

From the website here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-how.asp#step4

If you live outside Canada, you must:

Pay your fees on the Internet, or
Obtain an international money order or bank draft, in Canadian funds, made payable to the Receiver General for Canada.
On the front of the money order or draft, write the financial institutions’ name, complete address (not a post office box number) and account number(s).
Submit the money order or draft with your application.

So if you have a credit card you're fine to pay them online.

Thanks for the reply.

However, when I follow the steps to pay online I get to the following page

https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/epay/immigrationviewlist.do

As you can see, the following message is written on the top of the page

NOTE: If you are applying at an office outside Canada, you cannot pay online. You can find information on fee payment methods at the website of the visa office responsible for the country or region where you live.

The system does not allow me to pay online. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks again.

I think they like driving people crazy. I faced same situation. My visa office website was saying that I had to pay with money order blablabla, what I did. My application returned after a month, saying you had to pay online. I am in Canada, and I paid online now, mail not delivered yet, it's a week already.

Yeah, but the thing is you're not are you? Aren't you going to send your documents to Mississauga same as you would if you were in Canada while sponsoring? I can't see why you would send them anywhere else. First step it's sent to Mississauga.. then Mississauga sends to the Visa office relative to the sponsored person's country.
