BHEJ got his activated today. let's hope we get it soon

i did not receive any canada post notification ... i guess not today... will have to wait for tomorrow....

IT IS ACTIVATED!!!!

I checked on canada post website and it is activated but i did not receive any email alert. I guess there is a lag.

I sent mine on the same day but my tracker is not activated yet. I am scared

I'm FSW INLAND and my wife is in India. Got ppr on 28th. Sent my passport to Ottawa and my wife to NDVO on 29th. My return tracker is activated on 9th but file still shows open and background check is in progress. My wife's passport is not returned yet.

Is it something to worry about file being open?

Do not worry, once her is gets stamped you case will get closed after that.

Passport was delivered to Ottawa on Aug 5 and the tracker is not active yet. The thing is... I have a US visa interview this Thursday and need the passport with me. I can reschedule the interview but hopefully it doesn't come to that. Does it make sense to call CIC to ask about the passport? Does anyone has experience with something like that?
