no communication from anywhere.....they will just return your passports silently via tcs.

today it was my 49th day in total........35th day excluding offs and 7th week is over!......ya Allah get us back our pp asap....ameeeen.

help needed.

while filling the form E677.....declaring the currency....

what address should I mention in it under permanent address section? my current Pakistani address? or what? I don't have any Canadian address.......I mean I will stay in some hotel and then search for housing......so don't have any address what so ever......so should I write in Pakistani current permanent address in it? also same goes for phone number as well?

sharing a friend's experience about economy and job market stuff in toronto. He generally sounded quiet positive about job market conditions.

He said those in regulated professions will have to get local qualifications. For example, CA or ACCA will find that their qualifications don't hold much value there.He had an ACCA, and he had that struggle to start with.

In general, what he meant is that those relaying on educational qualifications need to get local equivalent to get the job they deserve.

Those with non regulated skills such as IT, wouldn't find that qualification barrier. He said there are lots of jobs in Canada in IT. His wife, a recent immigrant found job quiet fast.

Overall, there are lots of opportunities in Canada for the people with right skills!

I thought it'd be good to share this with people on this forum and to encourage them to feel confident about finding job soon after landing. Especially, lots of people have gotten or are about to get their visa at this stage!

Allah ka shukar hay I hv local qualification (CFA and FRM level 1 passed).

To give audience a boost, I got 2 interview calls by sitting in Karachi, and both of them said to contact them when I m in Canada. So there is a need but for qualified ppl.

One thing i noticed after reading so many timelines of people..! i guess those peoples who sent their passport family wise to ISB VO like 4 or 5 passports or more in each packet for Visa stamping only those are the peoples who will receive their passports in between 60 days rather then those applications who sent their individual passport like 1 passport in 1 packet only those people will receive their passport in between 30 to 35 days..!

Any member who sent their passport including family members passport in january 2015 and received back or still waiting please update and share the timeline.!

Yeah exactly..! may be the processing time or verification of passports according to family persons take time..! but kisi trhan ye confirm hojaye k family persons k passports return ka average time kia hai ? so we can calculate ours .. according to my research it take 60 to 70 days..! but not sure

but what ever the reason is.......it is not justified to delay passports of families........infact family passports must be handled with priority!
