Passport request for visa stamping

Hi

I have applied for Visitor visa (Inside canada) for working temporarily.

I am expecting to hear from the CIC soon for passport request, I was wondering if instead of sending the passport through post or courier can I go to the ottawa office myself and get it stamped the same day, I ask this as I have to travel to India soon at any cost and cannot delay my travel plans waiting for the passport through post.

1. There is no public access to the Ottawa processing centre.

If there was public access, people would go daily to enquire about the progress of their application.

If you need to travel with passport, you can request extension of PPR, and send in passport after you've come back to Canada

you can submit your passport with the request letter in any VFS centre in India.

it would take 1 week to get your passport back.

I did same for my mom, i applied it here, got approved, then sumitted in Hyderabad VFC, got back in 1 week

easy process only for TRPs
