Passport - Missing piece

What can I do if there is a missing piece (1cm) on a blank page in my passport?
I am planning a USA trip next week, will they make a problem of this?

What do you mean by missing piece? Is it ripped or torn?

I do not see any problem if one corner of a page is ripped off unless it is in the middle of a page and has been done intentionally to hide something.
