PASSPORT EXPIRY! WHEN IS THE PROPER TIME TO RENEW??

Hello Friends,

My son's passport will expire on March 25, 2011. Please see my timeline below. I am expecting for our medical this month or maybe next month. When is the proper time to renew my son's passport?

I am hesitant to renew it now, due to the possibility that CIC might ask for meds and PPR at the same time, and it takes 30 processing days to renew the passport.

Guys, please advise.

Hi,

Eventhough you have enough validity of passport,immediately after medical, before sumbitting your passport for visa, better to renew it, which may not take more than two weeks normally. You should send copy of new passport to visa office with a covering letter by fax.
