i just got off the phone from the passport office and they say you will not always get the expedited service. Has this happened to anyone?

It depends on why you are requesting expedited service, whether you already booked your travel arrangements and made payments, whether your references and/or guarantor are readily available to answer any questions if the passport officer decides to call them.

In most cases if everthing is in place, expedited service works.

I have to go home as I have been waiting to go home but withbthe exam and oath I haven’t been able to. I will have the travel booked just no emergency back up as to why travelling.
