Thank you. After renting the apartment, as I understand, you updated the address PR card to be sent.How did you do that? By ECAS or by applying to an office or something?

by the way i received my travel document (It took only two working days)..actually it is a visa stamp on the passport, the same one i had with CORP, only now mentioning "permanent resident" instead of "immigrant". it costs 50 CAD + 66 TL service fee

Now in my ecas screen there is a new table below the permanent residence table (that one paused on "decision made"), it is about permanent card status. it is in process: 1. we received ..., 2. we started your application on. ...

Hi,

I have a PPR from SGVO. However, I am living in Paris, and now my passport was transferred to Paris Visa Office. They require 2 identical photos. The the document (cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf) which they sent me specifies that:

• The two photos must be taken by a commercial photographer.
• The name and complete address of the photo studio as well as the date the photo was taken must be included on the back of one photo. The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable.

I am wondering that I can take photos by using photo booths around Paris or I have to find a photo studio.

Have anyone from those who are still waiting for PPR received any message requests from Paris VO regarding anything for a last 2 weeks? Did anyone had any communication with Paris VO within last 2weeks?

I am really concerned about lack of PPRs for a last 2 weeks from Paris VO in Iranian spreadsheet. Usually they had at least 4PPRs per week in average while now there have been nothing. It seems that PPR issuance is on halt.

My concern is regarding the below article and its consequences for us as Paris VO applicants. As you know Paris VO is responsible for Libya and Syria (former Ankara). From FSW2014 forum I can see that other European offices are working normally and continue giving PPRs.

Then i asked them a question on 17/9 and i am still waiting for a reply for this email.i find it strange because they usually replied to my emails within two to three days, this time it's been 10 days and i still haven't received a reply although i need an answer before the deadline for submitting the passports..

On 11/9 i received passport request, but i have been wanting to correct a spelling mistake in my spouses nmae befire getting the visas, so on 12/9 i sent them an email asking if it's alright to fix the name before submitting the passports, on 16/9 they replied saying that i can do so and that they will "leave our file open waiting for the new passport".. So on 17/9 we got the passport correted and sent them a copy by email and asked if we could now proceed with submitting the passports.. But they never replied back, and our deadline for submitting the passports is 10/10 and now we don't know whether to submit them or to wait for a reply from them.. You might wonder why we haven't submitted the passports after correcting them immediately without asking pvo if we can proceed.. Its because our visa office is paris, but we have to submit the passports for visa stamping in jordan.. So when they wrote"we leave you file open waiting for your passport " we did not know whether paris,wants a copy of the pasaport before we submit it to the office in jordan or not..

Sure, will let you know if i hear back from them.. My plan is to wait until 30/9, if they don't reply i will probably submit the passports because we dont wanna miss the deadline which is 10/10... I wish they were clearer in their respond.. Leaving our file open waiting for passport is what confused me..
