Good morning!

I have a question. When I check my ECAS it says for the sponsoring : Decision made (which is normal, I received my AOR and SA already) and for my husband about his PR it says Demand received by CIC. When I click on it , it says demand received on Dec 5 2014, wich is the date as CIC received my sponsoring!?
When you open the windows that give more explainations it says it means the files is in process, you may receive an AOR or not (the famous AOR2), CIC is verifying your documentation (if something is missing for ex) and if they need to meet you (interview).
Then medical is received and decision is made.
This process is suppose to be an average of 8 monthes to add to the 3 monthes it took to have SA right?
When I sent my application 2 things were missing : 1- the medical and 2- a letter from a judge autorizing my husband's son to go living with his father in Canada.
On Feb 27th when I received my SA they said my husband demand of PR was transfert to Paris even if it was incomplet and ask me to sent my medical in Paris : that mean they already check the PR application but not in details because they didn't ask for the child autorization.
If they sent it on Feb 27th like they said they should be another date than PR application received on Dec 5th?
I am lost (and I am sure I lost a bunch of you too ;)) Do I start counting 8 months from Dec 5th or for an AOR2 I may or may not received one day? Or should I just change my cereals in the morning and keep it more cool and relax!!! LOL
I badly need to know if I can enroll the kid at school in Canada for September...it is not that easy to move 5 persons including 3 teenagers and a dog at the very last moment.

You are correct the first 3 months were stage 1 and the second stage is estimated to be 8 months. The second stage starts after SA so I think its safer to start counting the stage 2 -8 months from February 27th not from December 5th.

When did your ECAS change to Demand Received by cic?

I don't know RYIT. First time I was able to check my ECAS it says already the same. It was a couple of days after I received SA. Only sponsoring went from application received to decision made a couple of days later ( a week after I received SA by e-mail); that's weird ...or not who Knows!?
So end of Feb + 8 monthes = end of Sept/ October...hum, it's going to be a mess...school starts Sept 2nd or 3rd. And nothing I can do I guess :(

if there are no doubts and paperwork is all good, Paris office seems very fast (at least in our experience).
Once of the best offices of CIC abroad. (in my opinion)

You can order your GMCS case notes.

I plan on doing it in April when it will be one month from when my file was transferred to see if they have even touched my file and if they have what they have been writing about it.

Guys I hope you are right when you say Paris is one of the best and fastest office of CIC :) I hope my papers are in order and for the rest I don't think a reconstitued family with 3 teenagers, a chihuahua and a cat is a typical profil of a white wedding...LOL...if we go for an interview I suare I take the whole familly with me! :D
RYIT : What are the GMCS case note? and how can you order it?
Spain : I do not have any news from Paris and it will be 1 month on 03/27. But for what I know they don't always send AOR2...so lets stay positive

GMCS notes are the notes that all agents who touch your file to process it leave. By ordering the notes some people have learned that they have lost forms or require additional information before they have requested it from you so they are able to save time by sending the information before they request it. Or they will make notes about whether or not they think your relationship is genuine, etc. The notes take 30 days to receive after your request them but you request them as often as you want (I don't suggest requesting them more often then every 30 days).

Any Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident can request online on behalf of anyone (Fee5$)
arrange 4 things first:

1. Scan of PR card or PassPort scan
2. Credit card
3. Scanned Consent form of release of info signed by your spouse

here is link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5744E.pdf

To Fill Form :
The form updated in Oct 2014, so here is the new method to fill it.

Section A will have principal applicant's name (the one who is being sponsored from pk)
section A will have principal applicant's signature as well

Section B will have Sponsor's name (the one who is in Canada)
section B will have Canadian Sponsor's signature as well

Section C will also have Sponsor's name (the one who is in Canada)
on section C
ICCRC number
Business or organization name both spaces will have
N/A written if you applied your spousal case without any lawyer

Section C:(4) : Check the e-mail Box

Put N/A in Section D

Sponsor and Principal Applicant will only have to fill one IMM5744E form and both will sign the same form
principal applicant's should fill/print/sign/scan and e-mail it to Canadian Sponsor who will print/sign/scan ad upload it on Atip Website

4. copy of passport of your spouse
go to the website;
https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en

I would e-mail them back letting them know that the link does not work and ask if they could resend the correct link that they meant to send the first time. That link even if it did work would send you to the skilled workers express entry section of the CIC website, obviously the person sending the e-mail made a mistake.

I wouldn't worry about them asking for addresses from October 2014-to date. They just want to confirm you haven't moved and if you have they just want to update your file.
But look on the bright side, at least you know they are processing your application!!!

I guess it is just a template they send to everyone, so the link never works.

At the beginning they said DOCUMENTS OR INFORMATION, and at the end they said:
Kindly give us your addresses from October 2014 to present day.

So, I guess they just want to know my address from Oct 2014 to present day.

Ahhhh, at the very end, they said not to reply that email, but to send a new one to a given email, a different one provided at the end.
