I just got a email from CPP-O about "PAYMENT OF THE RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE" I already paid $1100 for my dad and mom. Do you know if it's different from that?

Thanks kandel and Sponsorparents for replying. I guess I did not pay. I am not sure if I did it or not. But just now I paid $980. I will search my papers if I paid in past. Hope If I did they will refund my money.

BYW I got this email saying that send copy of RPRF or pay now so that we can continue processing your file. I hope thing are moving. I already sent the scanned copy.

Congratulations. We recently had to send similar to London. We sent by DHL and got our COPR after 10 working days . There is an option to take the documents in person to a drop off box and collect after 2 weeks but the instructions are very specific that this option relates to thursdays only. If your mother is not in or near London the courier route is better. What a great birthday present.

As already mentioned the first amount of $1100 was for the application..the additional $980 is right of permanent residence fee...your not alone, I thought the same thing when they asked for the fee as I thought the initial payment covered everything.

I believe $1100 is the application fee which is $550 per person. This is paid at the start of the application. The ROPR fee is payable when processing has reached the second stage and for 2 people is $980. Hope this helps. You need to pay it in order to get visas . if visas are not granted you will get that fee returned but not the previous application fee.

The other thing is to include a prepaid Royal Mail special delivery envelope pre addressed to your mother . It will have a tracking number so you can track when it's on it's way back to your mother.

thats not worry..most of CIC objections only in viral cases...like HIV , AND flues like bird flu, swine flue etc.....surgeries are normal..... medical are not big deal in case processing ......so be relex and wait for final decisson.....otherwise my file also still in ''Application Recevied''.....do have dependents in ur case???? ...

yes my sister as dependant and i sent all the requested documents and passports Nov 30 ,ur file is one month ahead of me as per medical request so plz keep updated
