It looks like there is no order for processing applications, we mailed two set of additional documents (my wife parents and my parents) requested by CIC in Mississagua, they were both received on the same day, but processed a week apart ???.

We just have to keep waiting...

I am talking about the letter which i recevived on 11 may it say your pr application is complete and it will be process in queu on they letter there is no file number.

this is not the letter which you got the next latter (Approval of sponsorship) will have the file # in the format F0000XXXXX which you can use to check status of your application

dont know, i too rec'd letter on may 17 2012 informing that i meet eligibility to sponsor and file is being transferred to New Delhi for further processing, then didnt hear anything. one thing i have noticed that if a file is transferred to Ottawa, medical is requested in 4 - 5 weeks. I dont know on what base they transfer file for further processing, and i have not heard from anyone to rec medical once file transferred to New Delhi, dont know why they (LVO) dont process the file as Pilot project (the way Ottawa does)

What does PCC normaly say?

Can the folks confirm how is the PCC worded? is it like this

This is to certify that there is no adverse information in respect of my name, d/o my father's name, holder of Indian Passport No. ***Number*** issued at ***city on ***date, which would render him/her ineligible for the grant of travel

Does it have living in current address or anything

in the form imm 5669 in questionc 10.government position there is from and to which is date and beside that there is country and level of juridiction so if the person is teacher then what to put in country of level of juridiction i appreciate

You can use regular mail with Canada Post - However I would suggest you use Canada Post Xpresspost. You will get a tracking # and you can also get confirmation signature upon delivery, it may cost you a few dollars more - but that way you have peace of mind that your package made it to CIC-Mississagua. Delivery is 2 days..

Yes, a PCC is worded somewhat like that. However, are you the sponsor? I am assuming that to be the case. If so, the words on the PCC indicate that this pcc is for you and not your parents????

Hi All, New to this forum. First post
No dependant, just mom and dad from US
This is my timeline:
Initial Application acknowledgement: Dec 10, 2007
Doc Requested: Nov 25 2011
Doc Sent: Jan 6 2012
Finger print sent without any request May 8, 2012
Recived letter to do medical May 18, 2012
Medical done May 25 2012
ECAS shows in process by using parents file number

What is AOR? How long from now it will take for decision to be made?
Can they refuse on basis of medical? My father is a heart patient had had by pass surgery?

did you send it to the PO Box address? there are usually no signatures from POBox addreses because there is nobody to sign... i did not get a signature from Canada post for P O Box address...
but there is also a courier address - i guess they provide signature there...
