I'm gonna rant today....CPC-M are slackers.
When the President of the so-called most advanced nation in the world can rant in front of millions of viewers, we ordinary mortals have full right to rant in a private group. But it only reflects our ignorance - that we are not aware of what is going on in the world around us.

I am deeply grateful to Canada for giving my family the privilege to call Canada our new home.

DM2 on March 10, but no news since. The parents have been in Canada since July. Calling the MP office was ineffective. Finally got an email yesterday saying that we will get a call shortly for a phone-landing from the CIC office in Kitchener. The officer asked for first and last entry into Canada and immediately emailed us the COPR with instructions to apply for PR card.

After reading the comments, I think the best bet on getting a faster COPR ( with VO CPC-M) is to call parents to Canada after DM2. It gets more urgent if the parents medicals/PCC is set to expire in the near future.

NDVO- delhi is working now? is they stamp passport??? anyone any idea??

What is pre arrival letter?
As far as i know, they are working but with subsequent service disruptions and currently providing essential services only and very little of application processing. I have seen some applicants are receiving communications regarding their file. Also they are still putting a visa sticker once its approved.

Congratulations, you are so lucky!! We are June 4th applicant, DM2 on March 4th 2020 and we arrived in Canada on September 10th but still waiting for our COPR. Our medicals were passed on December 3rd 2019.
i just have a question: what is the current situation at the airport? what was asked aside from quarantine plan? Thank you in advance

COPR isn’t issued upon landing. Your receive your COPR while in your home country. It sounds as though you received a PRTD from the NYC consulate which is very different than a TRV.
Yes COPR is issued with PR visa but not valid until signed and validated at PoE during landing by CiC officer.
