can someone tell how to check the "E-case status for sponsor" for the parents application?

Go here: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do

Enter the sponsor's personal info like DOB, UCI, etc to login. If after logging in, you don't see any information, it means they haven't entered it into the system yet. Typically ECAS becomes active 1-2 weeks before AOR is sent.

Application received in Ottawa: May 10 ( according to ECAS)
=> AOR letter and ECAS status changed on July 24th
Approved as sponsor letter received: August 21st
=> ECAS status is still not updated
File is transferred to Warsaw, Poland for further processing

I just received an email from CIC. It says "Your application has been accepted under the intake cap for 2018." and then under that it says "important information about using a representative" and it explains they need representative form but I have already included that. Should I send that again?

Congratulations to everyone approved!

Question#1: my Mom and Dad traveled a lot for work ( monthly trips to China) Obviously non of us can for sure recall dates of the trips and other details. Also old passports are changed and they did not keep the copies. I am worried that they will request travel history. Any advice?

Hey, that is just a generic entry by Yulia in spreadsheet for everyone in this round 2 currently. I still do not have anything coming up in ECAS. i think ECAS becomes active 1-2 weeks before AOR email comes.

Hello All,
I have few questions about parents PR process. We applied in May 2018 and got selected now file moved to local visa office. My parents are with us in Canada under super visa. CIC website shows the status as PROCESSING.
1>When do local visa office request police clearance and medical? god knows
2> Can I get both police/medical report before the local visa office request? no, you need a form to provide to the doctor
3>So far CIC contacted via email, will the local visa office will use regular mail or email for further notification about the case? email
4>Will my parents be able to travel between Canada and home country while PR in process? Still my parents super visa is valid for 10 years. SURE yes!

you don't know your LVO while you don't have DM for sponsor - it might be Ottawa or NewDelhi

Oh I didn't know about it. So they decide LVO right? Well My province is Ontario and Invitation received date is July 31st 2018.
