No you'd not wait for so long this time. Maximum time to receive PPR-2 is 6 weeks but as goodman opined now a days it takes 4-5 weeks. Hopefully you'll get it soon.

Dear Friends,

With the Grace of Almighty Allah the beneficent and merciful on all of us,today i received PPR2.

Insha Allah tomorrow i will submitt my Passport to high commission islamabad.

before this i have two questions Please reply me fast.

1 Recently i renewed my passport in step1 letter i send new passport to London,now i would like to know

that for visa shall i send an old passport with new one or only Fresh one.

2 my second question is that they supplied me a return address label.shall i put the same address which i

put in my application.or can i give them different address for Passport delivery.because i want to give my

home address,i have two different addresses in my application.my home address is different from the postal one

Thanks Dear, yes i got my PPR1 on Oct 16, sent the copies on 19th which were received at LVO on 22n of Oct and today on 9th AlhumduLillah PPR2 is with me.

Its really a great news. In my opinion, answers to your queries are as follows:

1) You should only send the new passport. Old passport is not required.

2) You can give any address in the return address label different from your previous address. There wouldn't be any issue and you will receive the passports after issuance of visa on the address mentioned in return address label. I did that same and received passports on the address with out any issue.

Baggage allowance is basically depends upon the policy of specific airline. PIA & Qatar allows 2 pcs of 23/28 + 7kg hand carry however almost all other airlines allow 1 pcs of 23 + 7kg hand carry. Emirates do have code sharing with British Airways/Air Canada for Calgary. Route is Karachi - Dubai - London - Calgary.

i am going to toronto by emirates but they gave me allowance for two pieces of 23 kg plus 7kg hand carry till toronto then why did they ask you to take one bag from dubai you should have taken two bags and did you have to collect your luggage at dubai airport again to catch your next flight or you collected your luggage directly from calgary and did you have any codeshare flight till calagary.
