Reply to the PPR1 email and write (URGENT) in the subject line...but do not delete any other info from the subject line...

Then refer to the below email and tell them that you are concerned as your Medicals are to expire in xx days...hope it works...

I know you most probably did the same...but try try again !!

Thanks for your input guys..I did write Urgent in my E-Mail to them, but still No response !! 52 days have gone by now, and now another weekend is here, Really frustrating.. I guess one can't do much but wait ! Has anyone else heard of PPR2 taking this long ??

Today, i sent a CSE and got the following reply within hours:

We have received your medical results and your documents.Background checks are now in process for your application. We areunable to advise when these will be concluded but we will contact youagain as soon as we are able to.

My question is Whether they have received review of medicals.

Yes it means that your Medicals are accepted as OK and now your security/criminality checks are in progress. You are about to receive your PPR-1 InshaAllah

Dear All,

What I perceived from lastest status updates is :
They are shuffling their processing from MI-1 t MI-2 . few days back 2010 (who applied in last month of 2010) got PPR1 now 2009 Applicants ( who applied in March April June) are getting PPR1.

with this trend I think they again switched to some MI-2 applicants after that MI-1 applicants( thoes who applied in september/nivember/december) will PPR1 (InshaAllah)

So Applicants (like me) will get PPR1 in late July or in August I hope so

It seems that 2009 applicants are getting the final decisions now. And hope fully they want to clear some back log before new application.

Received an email from MCH a few minutes back, saying "Thank You for this submission".

Wow! That was fast. And they actually thanked me for it. 8)

That is quite achievement, getting a "thank you" from MCH.

Also does it really take 5-6 weeks ?

Today I received my PPR1, I also done my medical in mar 2012. I think You will get your PPR1 in coming week. Hope for the best.

I will not recommend CAIPS or CGMS. Your time lines are well within limits. Do not get desperate. Inshaallah, you will receive your PPR-1 soon
