Hi Mahmud, my case to board is also in May. Sometimes the board approves a month before. Please let me know if you hear something from APEGA
If you get any update, please let us know too ! I think we have few other people on the same boat right now ! I am little worried as I have claimed some foreign experience. We will see !

For sure. IMO, foreign experience is not a problem. Description of the experience is key

Application went to review stage: 1 Mar, 2024

Experience Review 1: Completed 12 April 2024
Experience Review 2: In Progress
NPPE Exam Scheduled: 3 June, 2024

Hi everyone, I have stated my timeline above ...I am going for Peng or PL in Instrumentation Engineering. I am getting concerned as it is taking awhile for the experience examiner 2 to complete my review.

I know the reviewer may have a backlog. But its been silent for a while.

What Peng degree are you guys being reviewed? Electrical / Mechanical...????

Should I be concerned about the length of time for the experience examiner to complete their review?

Do you know if APEGA recognizes the Washington Accord?

I did my Electrical Engineering degree in the USA (ABET) school. I have 2 years working as an instrumentation specialist for an engineering consultancy in Canada and 10 years working as an instrumentation engineer for an engineering consultancy abroad.

This is usual. Nothing to worry about. Examiner 2 review was the longest for myself and my friend too !

I saw a few posts where people said they got the response the month shown in the application. I would say it should be around May 10-14 for May. I hope June 7-11 in my case... but we can only wait

What I have read in a few posts is that their case was moved forward to an earlier month’s board meeting, which is why they received the decision sometime in the same month as the "case to board". However, there is no way to know exactly when the board meeting will take place. It’s possible that the meeting occurs at the beginning of the month, and we may receive a favorable decision shortly afterward. These are all assumptions based on previous trends. For now, all we can do is wait and hope for the best.
