Outland Work permit approved but company closed

Hi, I applied for LMIA based closed work permit from India and received approval last week. But to my misfortunes, company went into receivership and is closed now.
Can I still come to Canada on this work permit and look for another job.

No. You are required to update Canada about any changes to your application including that the company has closed. If you arrive in Canada when the company is already closed you are misrepresenting that you have a job in Canada. If the border agent discovers that the employer is closed they will deny you entry. Attempting to come to Canada knowing your employer has closed may make getting another visa/permit harder since you will have had to lie to border agents about the fact that you have a job in Canada.
