Outland - online Oct 2021 application - no AOR yet!!!

Hi All,

I submitted my sponsorship application to sponsor my wife on Oct 20, 2021. It is an outland online application.
While seeing most (if not all) of the applications from Oct 2021-Feb 2022 have received their AORs and some have had their spouses arrived to Canada, we still have not received the AOR yet!! (status of the application shows submitted)
I tried calling my MP who called IRCC and was informed that this is normal and I'm not the only one here.
Contacted IRCC through the phone and webform, no help at all. (not even a temporary file number to track the application online (which means nobody has touched our application yet)

Any advice? I am planning on applying from the scratch!

Hi there,
They need to clear the back logs first because most of us have been waiting more than 36 months. Once I didn’t get any update for 2 years from them, I guess because of Covid19.

Relax and send them your queries over the webforms. Good things always late to implement !!!
