Were you able to get the passport letter again after it expired after 30 days? Did the passport letter have your name or your husband's name (Primary Applicant)?
I am the primary applicant who applied in the CEC class and currently reside in Canada on a work permit with my dependent child. My husband is the dependent applicant and he lives in the USA. I received a letter that has my name(Primary applicant)and instructs me to submit my passport and/or dependent passports to VAC Newyork.
I have not received the email commonly referred to as (portal email 1). I was expecting that I would receive an email to confirm if I am in Canada as we are the inland applicants. And my spouse will get a passport request letter.
