these are cases we know from 2022. There might be others from previous years also.
I think they are waiting for June 2023 which might have option of self administered Oath(if approved and not I am not sure about it). We all will be under 4-6 months after test for Oath according to time frame :) (barring 88civic)

@88civic , you are beyond that 6 months after test/LPP for Oath. Even their 12 weeks timeframe is way past. What excuses are they giving you now?

@anksyahoo I sent an email again last week and radio silence. Checked the tracker and ecas this morning and sadly no updates there either on the Oath ceremony. No progress apart from a couple of ghost updates since December, latest one on March 2nd. And my PR card is expiring in May, thought I'll get my citizenship by then, but it seems like have to apply to renewal. :(

This is astonishing. I have not seen any other location(pardon me if I offend someone :) ) so lagging in sending Oath updates. It being capital city, I would assume they have more employees working in the dept. I rarely see Ottawa applicant getting invited to virtual ceremony in last few weeks along with other locations. Either we don't know if there are Ottawa applicants doing Oath and they are not here in forum or dont update the data .
I hope they start doing Oaths soon and you don't have to renew your card. Fingers crossed.

Yes, I totally agree. If we were from GTA or Vancouver, this would have been much faster. But sadly all we can do is wait and let's hope Ottawa starts sending out more oath ceremony invitees soon !

Ottawa is THE slowest office. Fortunately for many applying from Ottawa, a fair number are sent to Niagara Falls for processing and those are processed more timely. For those stuck in the Ottawa office ... good luck

Seriously Ottawa is zzzzzz...... I know couple of friends who applied 2021 got their files transferred to NGF around sep 2022 and did their Oath in Feb 2023 but have not seen it recently.

Are you aware of any case?

I gave a call to IRCC today. "File is progressing well, no timeframe to know when Oath will be scheduled, keep an eye on the tracker. Nothing missing on your side." Guess that's a standard response. Calling wasn't helpful

I get you @forw.jane . This is such a shame. Members from Set/Oct are getting Oaths from different location(virtual and in person) and we have people waiting from march group.
Dont know what to say :(

I just spoke to couple of friends who applied for citizenship and yet to receive oath invites (not on this forum). First one applied in Late 2019 and got his oath invite on Feb 2022, but had to reschedule as he was away due to a family emergency. Its been more than a year now in his case no invite yet and the other one applied in Dec 2021, all steps completed, had his interview as well and no oath invite yet !!! Both are single ottawa applicants btw

:( This is getting more and more depressing for Ottawa folks. Looks like we all should just move on with our activities and dont stress/fret over this.

Best of luck guys. Best wishes to all of you :)

not sure if you guys are aware, I saw someone from February 2022 group had DM on Feb 08th got their Oath invite from Ottawa on March 27th with Oath date Apr 25th.

Not sure if it was urgent request or something else. I am not able to tag him here not sure why to get more info.
It's a total random way of working. @alphaechokilo completed LPP before that but still no Oath Invite. But I am happy for "YousefNaser" as he is Feb 22 applicant and already crossed 1+ yr.

Hi yes, I was also following your progress on google sheet and it seemed very much in sequence. No update as 16-Feb-2023.. fingers crossed.. Someone in Google sheet from July-2022, got everything updated within 2 days after test update..
Looks like your LPP completed at last :)
