I am on a closed work permit here and my spouse entered as a visitor with me, but now would like to apply for an OWP. In teh application we came accross the question about Date of your original entry to Canada and Date of your recent entry to Canada.
First time we came to Canada in January 15, 2012 - me with a OWP, him - as a visitor. He was extending his visitor status for 2 more times. Then we left Canada for 4 months and now we are back from August 1, 2013.
So in my opinion, his original entry date would be January 15, 2012, and the most recent entry date - August 1, 2013. Can anyone advise me? Or this is only for people who have multiple entry visas, or smth like that? His original entry should be the very first time he came to Canada no matter on what status, even as a visitor?
