Hello Morden applicants,

I sent in my application on May 9 and got the usual automated reply stating due to overwhelming number of applications, processing will be done in May'13. Waiting game has begun for me. Let us see when we get a communication from the city of Morden.

Let us share our occupation background so that we may know how many of us have a similar occupation. I am from India and am in administration and customer support occupation which has now been excluded in the new list for (FSWP) released by CIC last month.

I am very happy to see these kind of opportunities for Initiatives who wants to start their life in Canada.

I read Morden is a Nice city and good place to live and work.

I have completed MBA in Information technology (with 62% first division) and B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (with 76% first division) and having total 2.10 yrs of experience as a Web Developer.

Sonia (My Spouse) has completed M.Ed (Master of Education with first division), M.A. (Master of Arts in Mathematics with second division), B.A. (Bachelor of Arts with third division), B.Ed ( Bachelor of Education with first division) and having 2 months of experience as a Mathematics secondary school teacher.

To apply for this opportunity, we have all required documents but i have some following doubts, please clarify:

1. As i said i have done MBA and B.tech and having experience of 2.10 till now as a Web Developer. What is the scope for my profile. I can also go for management profile and IT Sector.

Same for My wife She has done M.Ed, M.A.(Mathematics), B.Ed and B.A., and having only 2 months of experience till now as a Mathematics Secondary School teacher. what is the score for her and Are we eligible to apply Morden city.

2. We have all the required documents except sufficient account balance statement (CAD $10,000 (primary applicant) + CAD $2,000 (spouse)) in bank. I have sufficient balance but not into the bank. So how can i solve this thing. Should i deposit CAD $12,000 and wait for 3 months to be older or Is there any other option(s).

Reply would be appreciated.

From what I understand, you don't have to show the funds now. Funds are to be shown when submitting the final application to CIC. first step is to send the formal application to the City of Morden with the following documents. If the review committee approves your application, then you might have a skype interview and an exploratory visit thereafter. If all goes well, you will then get the nomination certificate / approval from the City of Morden which will increase your chances of final approval by CIC.

1. Copy of passport
2. Resume of both primary applicant and spouse
3. Copy of IELTS results of primary applicant if you have it ready.
4. Authorization to disclose document.

Again in my opinion, you may not have high chances of approval as both of you over qualified for a small city like Morden or nearby Winkler. I may be wrong too. No harm in sending your application with the above attachments via email

Well you need to show bankcertification letter about funds .actually it's clearly mentioned in application form .
Just curious to know how can anyone judge person may or maynot be required just reading academic and work experience.morden may have certain occupation on interest list .Rest all information seems right to the point.
