Open work permit

Hey everyone,

I was told my husband (American citizen) can apply for an open work permit. I sponsored him using the outland application and he's here on an extended temporary resident visa. Can he really apply for an open work permit???

outland don't have OWP

Only applicants with an inland application can apply for open work permit.

Don't be sad you applied outland though. The processing time of outland through the US is no longer than it would have taken to get first stage approval and open work permit with inland
