How many original people from this forum are yet to get PPR? I think most of them got in Oct/Nov 2013. I'm awaiting PPR for last 7 months . Did medicals & paid RPRF in July 2013. Last month I wrote to NDVO inquiring @ my case to which they responded saying background checks are still going on. NDVO had asked me twice to resubmit background declaration forms in June 2013. I'm wondering what checks are taking them nearly 10 months. I've lived in Canada before on WP. Myself & my wife have worked there, my son is born in Mississauga & is a Canadian citizen. We've religiously paid taxes when in Canada, filed returns. Wondering what is hindering my background checks? Its so so frustrating now. No more patience left

Hi Rane,

You can apply for CAPS notes. I never tried for that but as your case seems stuck somewhere you can go for that.
Also re-verify information you had mentioned in the forms, especially employment detail.

hi all dear

i reached in Canada few days before but they restricted / bonded that i can only do job as computer programmer (2174).
the letter which they issue me , there is mentioned

Bounded : Computer Programmer

now can you please guide me , what i do , how i make my work permit , open ...........so i can do any job.

Is there is any other guy , who has NOC code 2174 and he is not bounded to do job as computer programmer.

i will be thankful.
