My query is,

1) What if I am not able to submit IELTS result till 30th June 2012?
Will my applicaiton refuse? or will they hold for my IELTS result?

2) whom sign is require in "Declaration as to the Truth of Nominee Application" ?

Its a really good score. They need a minimum score of 6.5 so your good to go.

I am worried that my writing score is too low. I don't think it represents my real capacity in written English. Last time I got 7 in writing, but that was in 2007.

Dude.. there is already a delay in a month before the process is started by extending the dates, and also there was a delay in sending out the request for this process.. do u still expect this to go on a fast track..I don't think so.its just they want to invite more people and make money out of it.

How many folks do you think have been invited for this?

I will be eligible for CEC application in Sep 2012; although I have sent in my application for nomination to this pilot, I am wondering if I would be better off with CEC instead.

They said there were no application fees. So accepting more applications does not mean they will get more money......

Possibly they might have not recieved as many applications as possible hence the extension in time limit for submission of form and ielts results. If you see when all of us recieved the application request there was a lot of unclear news like cancellation of pre 2008 application etc. Also the time limit of May 4 was too short for many to submit the application on time moreover ielts requirement out of the blue for many including myself.

The point is even if they are not charging any fees now, once nominated we all have to pay further processing charges when applying to CIC. So the more the nominations the more the processing fees later. I guess if they say 600 nomintions will be given out atleast 6000 application request might have been sent out.

Breaking down of the 6000 applications say 50% will be non applicable as in current or previous job exp wont match their noc requirement. The rest of 3000, 20% might not have the adequate funds leaving 2400, assume 5% might not have applied in the first place as might have left already to some other country leaving 2280.

Of 2280 10% might not get the required ielts score leaving 2052, another 5% might not get the relevant ref letters from current and previous employers whch honestly was a big task leaving 1949.

Of 1949 say 10% applications might be frm applicants crossing the working comfortable age limit of 45 - 50 as they might be given less priority because of the age factor leaving 1754.

Of 1754 10% people would not have properly notorized leaving 1578.

Of 1578 thery will be working on the first come first serve basis.

So in short the race is on between the 1578 applicants.
