BEST DIVORCE LETTER

Dear Hubby:
I'm writing you this letter to tell you that I'm leaving you forever.. I've been a good woman to you for 7 years & I have nothing to show for it. These last 2 weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you quit your job today & that was the last straw. Last week, you came home & didn't even notice I had a new haircut, had cooked your favorite meal & even wore a brand new pair of silk dress. You ate in 2 minutes, & went straight to sleep after watching all of your games. You don't tell me you love me anymore; you don't want anything that connects us as husband & wife. Either you are cheating on me or you don't love me anymore; whatever the case, I'm gone.
Your EX-Wife
P.S. don't try to find me. Your BROTHER & I are moving away to West Virginia together! Have a great life!

Dear Ex-Wife
Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It's true you & I have been married for 7 years, although a good woman is a far cry from what you've been. I watch my games so much because they drown out your constant whining & griping Too bad that doesn't work. I DID notice when you got a hair cut last week, but the 1st thing that came to mind was 'You look just like a boy!' Since my mother raised me not to say anything if you can't say something nice, I didn't comment. And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY BROTHER, because I stopped eating pork 7 years ago. About those new silk dress: I turned away from you because the $49.99 price tag was still on them, & I prayed it was a coincidence that my brother had just borrowed $50 from me that morning. After all of this, I still loved you & felt we could work it out. So when I hit the lotto for 10 million dollars, I quit my job & bought us 2 tickets to Jamaica But when I got home you were gone. Everything happens for a reason, I guess. I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said that the letter you wrote ensures you won't get a dime from me. So take care.

Signed,
Your Ex-Husband, Rich As Hell & Free!
P.S. I don't know if I ever told you this, but my brother Carl was born Carla(woman).........I hope that's not a problem

You might never look at a cup of coffee the same way again...

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life -- how things were so hard for her. She didn't know how she was going to make it and how she wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling! It seems every time she solved one problem, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water. In the first, she dropped a handful of carrots, in the second a few eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil without saying a word. In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners.

She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in another bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in the third bowl.

Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me, what do you see?"

"Carrots, eggs, and coffee," the daughter replied.

The mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. The daughter did and noted that they got soft. Mother then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, daughter observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, Mother asked her to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled, as she tasted its rich aroma.

The daughter then asked. "What's the point, Ma?"

Her mother then explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity - the boiling water - but each reacted differently.
-The carrot went in strong, hard and unrelenting. However after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak.
-The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior. But, after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened.
-The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water they had changed the water.

"Which one are you?" she asked her daughter.
"When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg, or a coffee bean?"

Look at it this way:
Which one am I?

-Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity, do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?

-Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a break-up, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and a hardened heart?

-Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water -- the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases its fragrance and flavor.

If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you.
When the hours are the darkest and trials are their greatest do you elevate to another level?
How do you handle adversity
?

So, which one are you... a carrot, an egg, or a coffee bean?

"May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy."

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past - the failures and the heartaches.

Anyone for COFFEE ?

As man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from the ropes they were tied to but for some reason, they did not. He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these beautiful, magnificent animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away.

"Well," he said, "when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it's enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free." My friend was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn't, they were stuck right where they were.

Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before?

Height of Communication GAP

Mr.Sharma comes home one night, and his wife throws her arms around his neck: I have great news: I'm a month overdue. I think we're going to have a baby! The doctor gave me a test today, but until we find out for sure, we can't tell anybody.

The next day, Mrs.Sharma receives a telephone call from Electric Company because the electricity bill of last month has not been paid.
: Am I speaking to Mrs.Sharma ?
Yes...... speaking

: You're a month overdue, you know!

How do YOU know? stammers the young woman.

:Well, ma'am, it's in our files! says the guy .

What are you saying? It's in your files ...... HOW ?????

Yes ........... We have a system of finding out who's overdue

GOD !!!!!!...... ... this is too much........ ..

Madam, I am sorry...... I am following orders.... I have to inform you are overdue

I know that ........ let me talk to my husband about this tonight. ..... he will speak to your company tomorrow

That night, she tells her husband about the visit, and he, mad as a bull, rushes to Electric Company's office the next day morning.

What's going on? You have it on file that my wife is a month overdue? What business is that of yours? the husband shouts.

Just calm down, says the lady at the reception at Elecric Company , it's nothing serious. All you have to do is pay us..

PAY you?why???

:you have to pay anyway

if I refuse?

Well, in that case, sir, we'd have no option but to cut yours off.

And what would my wife do then? the husband asks.

I don't know. I guess she'd have to use a candle.

There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at all the pictures. But there were only two he really liked, and he had to choose between them.

One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror for peaceful towering mountains all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect picture of peace.

The other picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged and bare.
Above was an angry sky, from which rain fell and in which lightning played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all. But when the king looked closely, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had built her nest. There, in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest - in perfect peace.

Which picture do you think won the prize? The king chose the second picture. Do you know why? "Because," explained the king,

"Peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart. That is the real meaning of peace."
