Old FD became New FD

Hi All,

I had a fixed deposit of INR 10 lakh deposited on 18 Feb 2018. It matured couple of days ago and the entire amount got reinvested again.

Now when I take the advice / receipt for the same account number, it shows start date of Feb 2019 instead of Feb 2018.

If I submit this as proof of my funds, IRCC would question the source of funds. However, this is a reinvested FD.

HDFC declined to add a note for the same. How do I prove age of my funds?

It will be fine. Send a copy of the old certificate/receipt also if available and add the explanation in your letter of explanation.
