Hi,

Need some urgent advice, i have got my ITA on 16th dec via the pnp route, i am in the process of filling my application ....

The issue is My wife's passport has a minor spelling mistake in her mothers name ... when we applied for pnp we didnt do any changes and got our nomination and then ITA.. should we mention the difference now in our application or let it be ? Could this lead to any problem ?

Getting a new passport issued now will lead to lots of delays in filling our application

Pls suggest way forward and if any one else has been in a similar situation ....

Are you the primary applicant? if so, my personal opinion is that this should be left as it is now and deal with it after you get the PR. Mother's name isn't really going to make any difference in regards to the current process...

Yes i am the primary applicant, i am going through a agent and he had asked for my and my wife's parent and sibling details which have to be put in the online application

Nothing is gonna happen..on a safer side you can get name affidavit for her mom saying the name in the passport and and (any other document which has the correct name say)birth certificate is the same person

It is highly recommended to submit the total fees of $1040 at the time of submission of e-APR, though this is not mandatory. This will make sure that there is no delay in processing the application.

For principal applicant it will be $1040. For dependants it is $490 extra. I am not totally sure.

Nope it's 550 + 490 per person over 18, so assuming she's over 18 then it's a total of CAD 2080 for the both of you.

Wow... huge draw! We'll soon see the CRS score fall below 450 then. With 3000 per draw the score is bound to decrease!

Yup.. it has been steadily decreasing... at this rate I think by Feb/Mar we'll be at the all time low of >450 points again!
