OINP Application sent in November 2015

I just want to clear 1 thing on IELTS:

My IELTS will be expired on 15th Oct, 2016. I got my nomination on 15th sept, 2016. They called me a day ago and asked updated IELTS.
It wasn't expired at that time. But, fortunately, I already gave exam 2-3 months earlier.

And anyways you'll need that new IELTS in EE profile as well. So, better to give as early as possible.

Please can you share your timelines ?

After receiving three emails with "your applicatuon has not been finalised yet" , I asked them directly whether my file is in lat stage or are ther any further stages left...and this is theit reply:

Dear applicant,

what the duck... they said that our profiles would freeze after you accept ITA.... now they want updated IELTS also !!!

lucky for you you wrote the ielts before, i cant imagine what would have happened if you hadnt written it... useless this is, seriously..

I believe all November applicants have got calls/additional document request already. They might be waiting for a trigger that is currently unknown to us to release the much awaited nominations. Hopefully, this happens soon!

Yes, cannot dismiss the second possibility that you have mentioned. People might not have reported their nominations on the forum.

They clearly mentioned in AOR that, you will be notified once your file moves to assessment phase.

Actually they didn't informed me on their own. After repeatedly asking them, i received the same email "your file has not been finalised yet".

This time i asked upfront whether my file is in decision phase or there are further steps of processing, thats when I got this reply.

Until you get ITA from IRCC. After that, your profile is frozen, so you wont loose points for an expired IELTS

The applicant has to have a valid IELTS up until he submits his PR application (rather than until ITA), IMO. If the IELTS expires after nomination but before e-APR submission, the applicant still has to take the test and submit a new IELTS, IMO. If these documents expire AFTER e-APR submission, then there it will not have an effect on the application. The same holds true for PCC and ECA as well. Age is locked from the date the ITA is received.
