OFF CAMPUST WORK PERMIT EXPIRING AUGUST 30TH NEED HELP

HELLO,
MY OFF CAMPUS WORK PERMIT IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE ON AUGUST 30... I WILL APPLY FOR POST GRADUATION WORK PERMIT. MY CONCERN IS THAT CAN I WORK AFTER AUGUST 30 IF I HAVE ALREADY APPLIED FOR THE POST GRADUATION WORK PERMIT. OR I CAN'T WORK UNTIL I WILL GET POST GRAD WORK PERMIT?

If you apply for your PGWP (Post Graduate Work Permit) within 90 days of graduation, you can work under your existing off campus work permit. Apply as soon as possible - I'm not sure what happens after August 30th. Technically you have implied status by having your application in, but there isn't specific guidance on it. If you do an online application, you should get your PGWP in about 30 days.

I am worried abt that what happen after 30th august..one of my friend he has applied for open work permit but his Post grad wrk permit is expired but he is still working...?
