Saw another update this morning
Last updated Jan 25th but no change.

For wife and son: last updated Jan 25th and I see that their Background checks completed.
What happened after that? Did you later see a change in your BG status? I'm seeing an update for me and my wife but no change in BG status as it is still in progress.

If my spouse and I move to another province, will it delay our citizenship application? We’re looking at moving to Alberta from Toronto.

Hey,
I've submitted my online application on Oct 8 2021. I haven't received an AOR yet (Feb 10 2022) and I'm starting to worry. Is there anything I can do to confirm my application is being looked at? I have a submission confirmation so I am sure its been submitted.
Thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem according to this member's post:

No, you are free to move as often as you want and wherever you want. This right is provided for in the Canadian constitution.

But you need to inform the immigration authorities about the address change.

Hi, to everyone.
Need some advise.
We send paper application (2 ppl) on Oct 21, 2021. Was received on Oct 26, 2021. But they send it back because my husband’s application had an error on physical presence calculation. They put note on my application that It’s considered complete, but because we send application as a family, my appl was sent back as well. They write also that I can resubmit THIS application and my documents with the completed application for my family member. Can I resubmit my application without my husband’s appl? Should resubmit new app and documents? Because they write note: please resubmit this application and documents… so I concerned how to send back now documents.
Does anyone have same situation.
thank you)

Did you get an email to check your tracker to see an update as your Background is completed? Or you just checked your citizenship tracker randomly to see any changes? Thanks.

No need to worry because you got all your AOR's and your process is moving. (So no mandatory missing documents)
Its normal that children's status doesn't change like adults and theirs will turn to completed all at once at the end. Sometimes children's may also change.
thanks for the response, relieved now!!

it looks like paper applications are getting test invite faster than online appliations
Unfortunately (or Fortunately) Yes. I made this observation the other day. To me whether you're (Paper) or Online; you should be processed in the chronological order that you submitted your application.

It's frustrating to think that (In General) you may have put a lot of effort into an 'Online' application and yet someone who submits a 'Paper' Application (after you) will be processed before you. It breaks all the 'Norms' about 'waiting in a line' and 'waiting your turn' if someone who comes for the same product/service after you gets served before you.

PS - I have no qualms with people who submitted an application before me being processed before me, but if I have to go to the back of the line (for someone who applied after me) then I find that to be very 'chaotic', 'frustrating' and 'demeaning'. I'm sure most people would agree with this concept.
