Both are good. But I choose below option so that I know for sure when I sent and when CIC received it (Tracking). But we will be spending some extra bucks for postal changes with tracking facility. Rest is with you my friend.
RCMP forwarding to individual and individual mailing it to CIC.

Test can be given any day anytime in your slot (24*7). I did that on a Saturday. I know someone who did it on public holiday.

Hi Everyone, I got my FP done and the fingerprinting agency told me that the standard process is RCMP mailing the results directly to CIC. I followed standard process.

My wife and I have passed the citizenship test. Now waiting for the status to get updated. Thank you.

Maybe you wanna give RCMP a quick call and discuss with the agent if they have really sent the FP results to IRCC?

I called them and the CSA provided me with the info.

Are online applications moving at all? As per tracker, there is no movement in Aug/Sep applications

But didn't the FP request specifically state that the results be forwarded to them directly and even provided the address in BOLD PRINTS?

These are the simple reasons why some applications get delayed for lack of following simple instructions.

Wishing you all the best though. And to anyone reading this...Please, follow all instructions diligently as you never know what may trigger a delay.

The results should go to the address mentioned in bold prints.
Doesn't matter whether we send it or the RCMP or an agency.

Just to let you know some Agencies and local police stations doesn't send to CIC directly. They will only send to the applicant and applicant has to send them to CIC.
This is because they have many complaints in the past stating missing documents at CIC, and agencies claim they sent it and there is no tracking option with third parties.

In my case RCMP sent the report to me and I sent them to CIC and my BG is completed now.
You are absolutely correct its better we read instructions carefully and follow.
In these forums we all just share our experiences and best approaches together and finally the end user takes the call which way to go.

FP given at agency : 15 Feb 2022
Canada Post received the report from RCMP: 07 March 2022 (But they did not delivered to me because of snow in my drive way - I wasn't cleaning due to health issues)
Finally Canada post delivered it to me on : 28 March 2022
I sent doc to CIC on : 28 March 2022
Doc reached at CIC : 31 March 2022
BG Completed 08 April 2022

she scored 17 and received a confirmation email with score.
i got 20 but never received a confirmation email of my score.
