I read one lady got a BOWP even she never got a AOR............so it might be a case they are holding to release a AOR and CIC might already have it at there end.........strange but may be the case based on that ladies post

Life has become a gamble after coming here . I have friends here who got their BOWP rejected.

true. they will be happy because the will not have hundreds of people contacting them trying to know some info about their applications

If Alberta nomination won't count then where one can use it now ? i am not sure about your comments , is there any link which says that ?

Doesn't say anything about that in there website. But I called them to verify my nomination for EE. But unfortunately Ainp is not valid for EE at the moment. But some of other provinces does. They said that Ainp would open Nominations for EE in the future. Trust me I tried..

I called cic regarding the delay of our AoR s. Even the Rep I spoke was surprised to hear that it has taken more than 10 weeks. So she gave me Sydney's email and asked to inquire about the delay.

So I was thinking lets all do it and let's see what responses we will get..

So for us AINP guys it's only the good old pnp pr category. It's still open and good to go. If u have an job offer with a LMIA I suggest u to apply for EE. Job offer alone is 600 points

I sent them an email on Dec 11, 2014 stating that I contacted CIC phone call centre and they said I was supposed to receive Acknowledgement of Receipt in 8-10 weeks which had already passed on that day and requested a clarification of the status of my file. Have not got a response yet. My application was received on Oct 01 so it is already more than 4 months now. This is really bad, what if my application was lost and never got to CIO? when will I find out about it? My nomination expires in 1 month.
I know people from CEC category also have this problem. I have read in this forum that sometimes CIO answers to those emails stating that they are working on your file and the File Number will be issued soon.
At least I was lucky that I got my BOWP using CEC application that I have otherwise my PGWP expires tomorrow and I would have been in trouble. I wish all the guys that are waiting for AOR to apply for BOWP patience because CIC does not care about their own timelines and procedures (they never have). A process that used to take 25 days in the last June is taking more than 4 months now without any reason!!

I sent my PNP-PR application (Alberta) last Oct. 16 - received Oct 20 - accdg. to postal track - I still don't have my AOR until now.

my work permit expires tomorrow (Feb 8). Renewed my work permit (same employer ) last Nov 26, 2014. - I have not received my new work permit last month - got worried, so I phone CIC asked why there is a delay. They advised me that it was put on hold because my AINP cert expires last Dec 27, 2014. Rep told me that they are waiting for my AOR to proceed on my work permit application.

My concern: is my application really on hold? Or should I worry now because they might refuse my application?

One rep said it wont be refuse because they just put it into hold - other rep said she does not know.

Any advise hat should I do? Thank you.

I am confused first of all,
1. AINP nomination is valid for six month , so why you applied for PNP PR in oct which is only 2 months before its expiry , when its known that AOR nearly taking 3 months ?
2. Why your work permit extension is linked to you PR ( AINP) nomination ? if its a work permit extension then it has nothing to do with your PR application as its based on what documents you provided for ur extension process...

My suggestion , please raise a special case inquiry for your work permit only and don't link anything about PR . Simply you should get the work permit extension first.
