they should email you too... I never received the mail by letter and my SA was on 18-10-2013...

I think it varies. I got my sponsership approval by mail and never got an email.

My husband received our SA via e-mail only. So yeah, I guess it varies, can be via snail mail or e-mail.

im an October outland applicant!

my package was received on October 31st!!! eee just checked my application status on my sponsorship and it says decision made and it was mailed out to me on November 21st. I dunno what that means!!! I hope its good. much faster than I thought I would be getting any kind of a response!

Whattttt!!!! when did u get ur SA and when did they transfer ur files to ur VO? I think they are mailing u about Sponsor approval which is same for me lol

yeah that's what I checked....lol they sent me an email saying they received our application and I followed a link....at first it didn't say anything, like it wasn't processed, and I checked it this morning, and it said decision made, and a letter was sent out on the 21st saying what the decision was....which im assuming is yes. lol but I really don't know. but I feel like they might have asked for more info to process it if it was no.

anyways im super proud of myself for getting this done! fingers crossed!!!

Received an email on Oct 31, 2013 stating you're eligible to sponsor
My wife received an email on Nov 13, 2013 with her Client ID/UCI number and request to submit her passport in New Delhi VO.

Didn't expected that quick. How long does it take in New Delhi office after submitting passport?

my husband got his msi card today!!!

very exciting for us. we didn't know until I went in to change my last name and she said if hes American and we bring in our receipt of payment, mailing record, and marriage certificate, he could get a 2 year card!!!

we were wondering about travelling....we are doing outland and he is here 'visiting' me... we'd like to go to south America for a few months as my husband is coming to nova scotia from Hawaii and he is not enjoying winter. we have money saved up to travel and would like to go.

is it something I should notify cic about.? we are prepared to take the risk at the border of him not getting in. thanks for any input/advice!!!

For those of you planning on moving to Ontario, have any of you looked into private health insurance for the 3 month waiting period before OHIP kicks in? I posted on the health forum to see if anyone has done a comparison of various providers but no answer so far.

Before I start doing research on my own I wanted to know if someone already has looked into this.

I would attach a cover letter and sign the form and send them ASAP. Similar kind of thing happened to me, my wife had applied for visitor visa before and in the form by mistake we said NO. I filled out the form again and signed by my wife and sent it to Mississauga with a cover letter but by then I had my file number. Not sure if you got the file number yet or not.
