Hello po...ako po October din po na forward papers nmin sa CEM...Na send ko po yung passport nmin nung Feb 8..up to this moment po Application Received pa rin po nakalagay sa ecas ko...hays ang tagal din po pla mag process noh.....pero recently lng po aq nakacheck sa ecas ko puro ung sa husband ko lng po ung nachecheck nmin! Sna po magka Visa na po tau...

aldrin meron na din mailing address sa aking eqas... sana malapit na dumating ung sa atin.. expiration ng meds ko this week.. june 8,2012.. sana dumating visa before nun... me nagpost nga pala.. nabasa ko... ito yun.. sa tingin nyo legitimate ba ito.. dko pa nacheck e.. check it out and post kung ano sa tingin nyo....

this is good news.

The Canadian Embassy can now request for extension of the Medical Exam validity for another 12 months if the reason for the pendency of visa issuance is an about to expire Medical result or an Expired Medical result.

So, at least, we wont have to redo it again in case our Medical Exams expires.

The only thing I am scared of about this is that, maybe the CEM will no longer be pressured to issue the visa immediately as a request for extension can now be done. This will also give them enough confidence not to hurry up for the processing because there is no more pressure of an expiring medical exam.

Effective June 1st, 2012, officers can request that an applicant’s medical file be reassessed by a Medical Officer (MOF) or a Health Branch (HB) delegated staff for the issuance of a new medical certificate. The process applies to cases where a final decision of an officer is pending only due to the expiration of a medical certificate or when the validity of the medical certificate is about to expire and the applicant is unable to land before it expires. This process is limited to applicants who had a routine immigration medical examination (IME) done by a panel physician within the last 15 months in or outside Canada. The new medical certificate issued will be valid for 12 months.

my timeline:
October 25,2011---filed application to MIssasauga
February 3,2012--Sponsor approval
March 12,2012---- CSQ approved
March 05,2012----PPR sent
June 04,2012------Phil. mailling address appeared

Almost 4 months n passport ko s CEM, ang tgal naman processing tortured n s amin ng wife ko ang mag antay. s mga remaining applicants ng 2011 sana magkaroon n tayo ng visa. Godbless to all!!!

hello guys October2011 din ung misis ko un ppr nya March 15 until now ala pa ung visa nya mageexpire n ung medical nya nito july 15
hay ang hirap talga maghintay lalo pa umaasa k lng sa update ng ecas......

ganun nga ata !! wla pa visa sawa ko eh ahahah.. pati asawa ko july exp visa nya naku sna wag na magask pa ng 2nd meds magastos na nga ddely pa so to avoid that need to relese visa dba.. hmm gsto ko magwrk sa visa office see ng ano gngwa nla

@livelife yup October yung misis ko wala nmn kaming naencounter n problem espicially dto sa canada pero nung nasa CEM dyan n umusad pagong ung process mg4 months n ung passport ng misis ko ala pang visa n dumating ni ung ecas nya e in process parin mageexpire n ng aung medical ng misis sa july 15 e... talgang nakakainip maghintay buti nlng may mga forun n ganito para nakakawala ng frustration sa paghihintay ng visa
