(OCI + Passport surrender )documents

It may have been discussed before ,
but still , anybody recently filed OCI + Passport surrender at BLS in Toronto/Brampton?

please confirm the exact list of documents required for each;

1. Do we need to submit Original COPR?
2. Do we need to submit Original Citizenship certificate?
3. Do unmarried applicants need to furnish declaration that they have never married?

Passport surrender;
1.Printout of Online application
2.Original Indian Passport
3. Copies of Indian Passport
4.Copy of Canadian Passport
5. Copy of Canada Citizenship Certificate
6. One Photo 2" x2"
7. Fee - cash or debit

OCI

1. Printout of Online form
2. Copies of India Passport
3.Copy of Canada Passport
4.Canada Citizenship certificate (copy or original???)
5. COPR (copy or original ????)
6. One photo 2" x 2"
7.Fee Demand draft $ 425
8. Address proof Canada (DL)

Any omissions /mistakes please correct.

I am in process of doing the same thing. BLS website is very poorly maintained with contradictory information on more than a couple of pages.

Hi i am getting my canadian passport in few weeks. Could u confirm following ?
- were u able to surrender your passport and got oci ? In single application together using their pick-up drop off courier service ??

I too have a similar questions:

1)
Can I apply for passport surrender and OCI together in a single visit to Brampton BLS.....OR.... Do I have to wait to recieve surrender certificate and then apply for OCI ?

IF YES then how does it work....asking this because BLS Brampton has two different buildings (in the same plaza) for Surrender and OCI.

2)
Do they take walk-ins for both processes?

3) I need to leave for India by Oct 1st week....do I stand I chance if I apply by 1 Sep 2022.
