Hi toronto60,

Looking at your timeline; you are well under the avg processing time required...
Given that you received a RQ the time could be upto 36 months...you haven't reached 24 months either...

Not sure why are your worried...
Request your ATIP; that will give you the exact stage your application will be at.
Wish you the very best!
Hi, i am worry because there are no people with pretest RQ to wait for oath more the 12 week
I have ordered ATIP last Monday.

Hi All

Here is my timeline:

Office: St.Clair
Applied: December 2011.
Processing starts: November 2012.
RQ: December 2012.
Test: March 3, 2014.
Oath: ???

I got a pre-test RQ which significantly delayed everything.
Its already more than two months after the test. I called CIC and was told that my file wasn't updated with the test results (passed 20/20).
Does this mean that no one looked at my file since the test and that I am not on the list for ceremonies? Or is it a common thing?
I am not sure if this is related to the RQ, but a friend of mine that had an RQ as well was tested on Jan and had the ceremony on March.
Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Thanks Upset, toronbto60 and QAI. I know waiting for a oath can be stressful. I think sometime it takes longer because of expired background checks, finger print etc. It may delay by 1 or 2 months max, but doesn't mean you have to see a judge or anything like that. So cheer up and be positive.

Officially it says 30 days...
Given the flooded requests these days it may take upto 45 days...

Good Luck!

There is no concrete timelines for PRE or POST RQs...
Its completly random...the CO simply cherry picks the cases and proceeds...

Hi guys, i took the test and interview on Feb 19, during the interview, the CIC officer told me everything is good, and I need to wait 3-5 month for the oath. Now I am still waiting for the pink letter. I would like to know is the citizenship is a sure thing for me? or they may check all the application again after RQ, test, interview etc. I am concerned that something may come up.

Office: St.Clair
Applied: Jan 2012.
Processing starts: June 2012.
RQ: December 2012.
Test: Feb 19, 2014.
Oath: waiting

How accurate the duration that the officer tells you it will talk to have the oath. most officers tell 3 to 4 months .is this real, or do you want to wait 36 months,
