OATH and Travel plan after one week

Hi Everyone ,
I am wondering is there anyone has experience if OATH date is very close to travel date what option one could have ?
In letter couple of things mentioned , first is if travel plan is close to OATH request to reschedule while second is if your travel pan is soon let us know we will work to issue you certificate soon .
I am wondering any of you have this experience ?
My travel date is after 7 days of OATH.
Very expensive to change the flight on the other hand d 't know how much delay could be by re-scheduling the OATH .

Any feed back will be much appreciated.

Unlikely to get your passport in 7 days, even with urgent processing.
