Hey i got decision made today on 16th march . I called cic yesterday and they said everything is good .Approval is made by cic and will get PPR within couple of weeks . Dont worry hopeful.ad . Hope for the best .

Every step is challenge in this Immigration, the part I don't like about them they don't care.

Thanks, I arranged my tickets through YYC and hope everything will be fine.
Yes, I'm visa exempt. Actually I send copy of my passport & pic after 1 week due to family reasons. When I applied it was for all family and now I my family will join me later on. I think this change caused them to reprocess and send the COPR only to me which took extra week or so. See no reason to blame them for delay.

What is happening?! I am Nov 23 Applicant too! No DM no PPR yet.

Relax, they have sent our case to in-depth screen which applicants from July, August, Sep, and August are still waiting for DM. If they haven't changed the speed we should wait at least +6 months. I think it depends on your nationality and your luck (random selection)!

Hi guys, i just got BG changed to In progress in my CIC account and DM on EMCS. It is weird that when i click into the DM link, it still shows as 'Medical request passed ' as the final message. i dont know why... any idea?

OK. I am very worried. My BG in progress at the beginning of this month and I still have not got decision made. I am not sure if I was the only one that haven't. What is going on?

Did u check the EMCS system? I got DM on the same day as BG in progress in myCIC.

Yes I did. It was "in process"

Not yet man, CIC remains same for all, still in process. I don't know they are saying that my application is approved but why that much time to just send passport request.

i think that maybe diff visa officers handle this differently. yours are coming soon! let's just be patient to wait. Since we already waited for such a long time. good luck to us all!

Final BC (security) in progress Jan 27 2017 (didn't get any email or other notification, just randomly check MyCiC)
DM Mar 8 2017 (didn't get any email/ notification, just check ECAS, MyCiC no update)
PPR Mar 10 2017 (Email, subject "Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa". No update in ECAS-still Decision Made and MyCIC-still in progress.)

2 freakin years+ since October 2014 submitting the PNP envelope...

Mailed the passport out using Canada Post Priority on the 13th. Received by CiC on the 14th. MyCiC updated as Approved today 16th. No update in ECAS. Return tracker hasn't activated yet.

Not yet man, CIC remains same for all, still in process. I don't know they are saying that my application is approved but why that much time to just send passport request.

i checked the other forum and saw some early Jan 2016 applicants having the same status as us. so i would say maybe they are trying to get thru both 2015-Dec and 2016-Jan groups to get status updated and then send ppr? who knows. But i dont quite know that whether we really have DM or not, since myCIC does not change to that step yet. do u know how long it normally take from DM to PPR? thx!
