Not very different than my case. I left home when I was 17 too. But lived in a third country before coming here. I did upfront medicals 4 months in advance of their planned medical request date. I don't think it has helped with expediting my file. I've been waiting for more than 17 months now and my medical is about to expire in two months. If the delay is continued (very likely), I have to redo the medical, pay additional fees, and maybe this time it will actually translate into additional delays (the delays associated to sending the request, booking appointment, sending the results, reviewing, etc.).Rajveer said:
