Hello Sarah, Are you inland or outland? For all outland lots of us are in the same boat awaiting for file to be transferred to Mexico. Apparently this is the slowest VO of all the VOs. All Central , Latin American as well as Caribbean files goes to Mexico adding. I was told that files does not get transferred to Mexico until the VO has catch up with the existing files ( not sure if it is true or not but sounds like a valid reason for me ). I called CIC today I was told that my wife's file is still in Sydney however the VO has already been designated ( which of course is Mexico ) this is nothing new and . The officer told me that may be file will be transferred in a few weeks. Well guess what it has been over 2 months since applicant has passed medical now and exactly 2 months and 10 days file is still not transferred. The officer also told me that sometimes files does not get transferred and is treated in Canada. Well hopefully this will be the case but then if it was going to be treated in Canada why would it be ob hold for such a long time. Bottom line Mexico is very slow, lots of waiting time and a lot of patience needed., Check the Mexico board from time to time for any updates . Good luck
