I had the same dilema as half of my stuff gets updated and rest comes as email, so one fine day I called CIC to allay my concerns of missing any important document or communication, the above mentioned answer is what I received. Just waiting for any update to come through to test the statement.
What I read from different people here that Scarborough sends email test invite while Mississauga sends mail test invite.. but I am not sure if this is 100% guarantee.. Do you mind update us once you know your test location office? Thank you :)
Sure.. I will update as soon as I receive the letter..

Hi guys,
I have a question, i’m a Permanent resident under protected person. But after 6 years of being in Canada, I had to go back home 3 times, to see my mother when she was seek, in a coma and for funeral. 2 trips only falls before my application for citizenship and 1 after.. I have all the proof (supporting documents) for each trips... My lawyer told me for emergency like that, i could go back. I just want to know if anybody had a similar case or experience at the interview with the officer, pls share so I can be well prepared.
Thank you

I cant say i had the similar issue as you but definitely a lot on ins and out.
They interview person was very very nice and understanding. she looked at the dates on the physical presence calculator and asked me questions regarding the longer times i was away from Canada. If you were away for more than 6 months at a time they might ask you for a police clearance from that place but other than that you should be fine. Keep the supporting documents on you just for the sake of it but the person who took my interview didn't look at mine.

Hi All,

Please help me which option i should choose in Physical Presence Calculator;

EXAMPLE 1 :

(Study permit valid beyond that date but PGWP issued on 30 august 2013).

Date eligibility period start : 2013-06-13 to 2013-08-29 (international student)
Date temporary worker permit PGWP : 2013-08-30 to 2016-04-21
(here is 30-august PGWP issued date and put the date before day of PR issued on 2016-04-22)

Example 2:
(Study permit valid beyond that date but started full time job on 07-23 while PGWP application in progress).

Date eligibity period start : 2013-06-13 to 2013-07-22 (international student)
Date temporary worker permit PGWP : 2013-08-23 to 2016-04-21 (job started on 08-23 till PR)

Please advise which example i choose ?

Well I am no expert but I'll just try to help you out.
You can now use 2 years of the time before you were a permanent resident towards the 3 years of your physical presence calculator date but it only counts as 1 year ( which i guess you know ) so just use the date which is 2 years before you became permanent resident. Doesn't matter if your were on a study permit or work permit. As long as you had a legal status.
Wish you all the best...

Hi, My application details were as the following :

Citizenship
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 14, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 23, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on January 29, 2018.
On April 18th I received the RQ request from Vancouver immigration office, has anyone run into a similar situation ? should I expect a delay in my application? How long?

I replied to all requirement by May 15th except the medical history which should take around 6 - 8 weeks to be ready!

Thanks
RQ is considered to be a non routine application and takes longer to process. The delay in addition to the time you take to respond to the request has typically been 2-3 months.
