Just focus on the important ones. Do lots of tests on (http://www.v-soul.com/). You will know from the questions the important ones. I got no questions about dates in my exam after trying hard to memorize all of them by the way

Congratulate me when my status moves to DM. Before that, nothing is achieved as long as the I am still in IP

Congratulation if u passed the test there s no reason why u ll not pass to DM

I got the test invite for May 09 ,hamilton but we are family of 2 and there is just one email.will there be another email ? One thing more the email doesn't have any name or numbers so how would we know for whom this is intended for?

Dear Sir/Madam,


On behalf of the department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, we are pleased to invite you to an appointment at our office. This appointment is for anyone who was 18 years or older at the time you signed your application for Canadian citizenship.

Please let me know if the email is like that for the test invite. Also please anyone can answer my questions,will apppreciate it.

Hello guys. My spouse got a fp on the 8th of February. She got the fp done at one of the rcmp accredited agencies here in calgary on the 22nd of february. Since then we haven't received any test invite. Should we be worried?

Your PR is not expiring. Only your card is expiring. And regarding sending an application for PR Card renewal- it comes down to if you have any travel plans scheduled. Nobody can predict if you would get your citizenship before August. Consider your travel plans and apply for PR Card renewal if there's a slightest chance of you having to travel.

My application is in process since 25th Jan. and I have called the CIC Call Center at least 5-6 times during this period. From my experience, I can say, the call center agents have little or no knowledge about what is happening with our applications after they went IP. Only message they reiterate is "processing time is 12 months and you will get your citizenship during that period". I am not sure if they can make it quick for one to get test date and oath. If they can, it is definitely worth a try.
