I stay in Toronto & do i have to apply for US visa and travel to US & come back - or someone said, I can travel till the border entry point and get my stamps done

You don't need US visa to complete your landing....you go to the US border side and tell them that you are flag polling and they will give you a admin refusal..bring that back to Canada and you should be good to land...

I did my landing at Peace bridge...not busy and easy

I recieved my AOR on 20th january but have yet not recieved MR mail.
I have seen some 30th Jan people are getting MR mail..

Any idea what's happening

I've sent update request for my application because of new passport acquired in March, 2014. That could be why I guess..

I am in Canada on an employer based WP which is valid till July, 2015. I applied my PR under CEC category in November, find below my timeline. I have received an excellent Job offer which is very hard to get. However, they will not sponsor me for any LMO nor they can give me more than 2 weeks to join. My medical result was uploaded on 22 May, 2014, however have not received any notification from CIC yet. Can someone suggest if applying for BOWP will be a good idea...

No, You cant apply for BOWP as your WP should expire in the next 4 months.

I am very curious what reply you get from Seniors ,
Reason Some what same scenario I fall .but as per I know BOWP you can apply only you are left with 4 month in WP expiry . (and you mentioned your WP is till July 2015), so You can't apply BOWP before Mar 2015

Nope - I am a Nov 19 Applicant - AOR Jan 6 - No MR yet, i dont know what the problem could be. i have not received requests for any additional documents, also no calls from CIC like some of the other guys been getting.. waiting & waiting....
