I did medical on 6th. Doctor uploaded on 8th. Ecas still not updated!

2 emails sent to Ottawa - no reply

Maybe it was done in the background and the agent on file was too lazy to change ecas. I think it should be fine since we both went to the same doctor.

My gcms shows Ime status as received from emed. However, I had asked cic whether my wife's trv medical can be used for pr as well. Cic replied yes. So, she didn't undergone new medical exam. But in gcms, all her info is removed because I had not attached the consent. So, I don't know whether cic is still waiting for my wife's medical result or have already considered her medical exam result from visitor visa.

My queries regarding the above are not answered by cic.

I asked CEC if i can use the same medical they said yes and then i send them proof of medical and they said it has been attached to my file but my status on ecas still does not show medical received.....

Anything from your latest gcms? Though I could not see my wife's details, overall application status is below :

Eligibility : passed
Criminality : passed
Security : blank (however, based on activity section, I'm guessing it's passed)
MedicAl: in progress

Application assignment (2nd page)
Due date: December 1st 2013

actually i haven`t ordered gcms notes yet, i will wait till Monday and order one if i do not see any progress.....will keep you posted...

Why would you wait until Monday? It takes about 4 weeks to get your notes : You must be a very patient person

I finally got Passport Request today. It takes me exact 1 month of wait after DM shown on CIC. I emailed CIC a week ago to ask about my status. Then I got a reply ith PPR. all the best to you all.

I saw a bunch of decision made on October 28th. I guess that's the day they decided to to close a bunch of cases to meet the immigration target for the year.

When did they receive your medicals? Did they update your ecas after medicals were received? Or you saw both decision made and Meds received on October 28th

Hey guys,

Does anybody have any idea of holiday processing pace during December ? Past experience in 2012 Christmas season ?

Most people( including visa officers) would have time off during the last 2 weeks of December. We cannot expect any progress during those days.

What about next 2-3 weeks? Are they working in full capacity?

If we don't get ppr( or any update ) in the next couple of weeks, we can expect updates only mid Jan next year.

Why don't you reach out to your local MP office? I was in the same boat and felt like it was going no where so I got my local MP office to follow up with CIC. Not sure if it helped but maybe it's something you can do at the moment. According to my MP office, they have direct contacts working at CIC. Try that and see how it goes.

And hopefully they can do it for me. I was gonna
File another file but since i got my finger print
I kinda positive.. Even on my GCMS notes
It said "awaiting officer to review before sending
Finger print to PA" so i guess it looks positive but stuck somewhere
