Hello bridge,

when you say expired .... means expired when? Or it is expiring? You sent you app in nov and your IELTS were valid until DEC... isn't?

Please clarify

Friends, I somehow feel that the "completeness check" for the applications have started. From what bridge is saying, they would not have realised that his IELTS score is no more valid till they start verifying the documents.

I have a question here, what happens to the application processing if the IELTS score expires during the processing time?

Can someone explain what AOR stands for? It that the mail/email receiving from Visa office informing you the file number? Thanks a lot. ;D

AOR stands for "Acknowledgment of receipt".

If your application is complete, CIC will begin to process it. You will be sent a letter/email that:

notifies you of this fact and provides you with your file number
sets out some basic instructions for contacting CIC
gives you a brief outline of future processing steps

Yes you need to submit your marriage certificate other it will be difficult for them to determine whether you got married or not.

If you get your AOR then you can send it immediately, so plan to get your certificate ASAP.

the CIO in sydney, they sending back my documents and i received yesterday because my IELTs is expired this dec so i need to re-take again.

hi bridge can u let me know which date in dec your ielts got exp because i want resend my application this week my ielts valid till 12feb 2013 please reply i have also got my file back due to birth certificate

Could you please let me know what did they say about the birth certificate?. I havent attached a birth certificate instead i sent an affidavit. I am also worried that they will send my application back because of the BC. what did you send to prove your birth details?

Om2012, what was the reason that CIC returned your file? I know that it is bcos of the DOB certificate but what did you submit as a substitute for DOB?
