when did u write the exam? 19th November? did u submit any handwritten appeal as requested in their email notification?

Yes i did , Since i did a mistake during the test , the answer sheet for both listening and reading has two side sheet, it was

very easy to mix them, and this what happened to me"

Hi all,

I am also waiting for my result from last two weeks and I have contacted Cambridge english however they are also not ready support. It seems IELTS is a test to make money . Highly disappointed with British Coucil as they dont know anything.

My result is under investigation too, I googled what does that mean and found a lot of people suffering from this issue and a lot of waiting time. Any way I called BC to fight with the customer service just to have some ****** relief!

I wrote to them twice to ensure that they know I did nothing wrong and I have the right to get my results as I fulfilled all their policy demands, now its their turn. We will call them also.

Even I have submitted the handwritten appeal to them mentioning that I have not violated any of their norms and ethics... its been two week since then...but still no result...keeping my patience and fingers crossed ... ... but i think it very wrong on their part to trouble the candidates this way....

man you cant take witheld ielts result personaly.. its usually more to do with centers than actual candidates...

just chill for a couple of weeks more, you should have the results by then

To be frank, i dont know anyone personally however few students of insititute got their result but mine is withheld.

I called the IELTS help desk and when I asked why my result is withheld when I have done nothing wrong, they said that computer picks the scores which have some difference in scores between sections and they can't avoid that. They said my case is sent to Cambridge for investigation and it would take 6 - 8 weeks and my test centre will be updated once it is done..

Horrible Horrible way of cheating in this 21st century. Atleast people should have the right to know what their scores are.
