Not able to pay online application fee, plzzzz help

hii , my online appl. is complete but im not able to pay application fee using my kotak bank net card ( prepaid visa credit card) ,it takes me to a page which says :

Transaction not approved - Transaction refusée
ON-LINE - CIC EN LIGNE
1-888-242-2100 Hours (local time)/Heures (heure locale): 08:00 - 16:00
ACCT - COMPTE
VISA $125.00
CARD NUMBER / NUMÉRO DE LA CARTE:

please try with another credit card. check if it is international or not. have you made any international payment before with it?

contact your bank.. is your VISA card approved for Online Purchases? try MasterCard!

It wont work, same thing happened with me, prepaid visa card will not work.Instead use standard visa credit card.

friends , i have paid my university fee using same card which was an international transaction in canadian dollars , so my card is also for int. payments, i dont know what to do now, its not working cic payment otherwise it has always worked for me

could you please provide more detail what happened when you used a prepaid card, did you get the same response , i do not have a standard card , what should i do ? plzz help me

i had a same problem , the reason: address was nt right , check your address or call ur bank helpline for accurate address .

ADIL, Did you pay using visa prepaid card ? im entering the same exact address as registered with my prepaid visa card

I had the same problem whist paying with Nigerian Bank Naira Master Card, exactly same message. Eventually used my UK bank Visa Card from Lloydtsb for the payment. You need to make contacts with ur people to get it done.

I know it could be frustrating.

its definitely the creditcard issue. As I said earlier. try MasterCard or VISA from any other bank.

I would rather say dont waste your time , ask some senior person he would certainly have standard visa card.

Make sure that Credit card transaction amount limit is more than the payment you are sending. For example if you have credit card on FD (Fixed Depsit ) then you can only utilize 80% of FD amount it varies from bank to bank. For solution Ask from you bank if you can deposit money in your Credit card to make payment ( There is deposit limit also ). But I would recommend to use wire transfer method because credit card transaction failures take so long for money to arrive in account if transaction failed and money deduct from you credit card. If you don't have credit card on FD then get assistance from your bank or by calling customer care.

thank you so much friends for your valuable comments, i finally got a relative with a standard card , just going to their house today to complete the payment , thank you guys. you know when i got into this situation , i started crying as it looked hopeless coz cic wasn't accepting my prepaid card, now only i feel ok ,still long way though, just praying for myself and all you guys, god bless you all : )

Hey Sana,
I'm facing the same problem you was facing those days, and it's making me so anxious :/ I tried to make the payement with my international Visa card for online payement but it doesn't work, just like you! I tried also with the card of a friend for me but I got the same message: Transaction not approved - transaction refusée!
which kind of card you made the payement with ? please reply as soon as possible.
