My situation is specific so I need opinions by experts...
My husband, child and me (main applicant) were issued COPR valid till March 2017.
I could not provide the non-accompanying parent's consent or a court permit for immigration for my other child.
So this child is now a non-accompanying minor in my COPR for which I sent to VO a notarized consent.
I will get a court approval for this child's immigration by Jan 2017. We won't land to Canada by then. The child's Medical is valid till March 2017.
Please I need your opinions:
- would the VO agree to re-open my case and issue COPR for this child? What is the chance..
- shall I pay again the 150 CAD processing fee for this child (I was informed that I will lose the fee when I changed the child to non-accompanying).
- would the child's COPR issuing take more than 1-2 months?
Thank you very much.
