Am just curious that everybody on this particular thread are of NOC 1122.....could it be an accident? not even one person is in another NOC code.


Of course, many of my friends who are not on this forum too are under NOC code 1122.

But whatever be the case I wish all of you (us!) the best of luck.

even i submitted a BD and it hasnt been encashed yet...wondering whats happening..

Okay, i rephrase my question.

Is there anybody in the list who submitted BANK DRAFT instead of Credit Card details, and his/her draft has been encashed by CIO?

My application was received by CIO on 22-July and I have included a bank draft in my application. Just checked with my bank, they said it seems thay my draft has not been enchased yet by CIO.

Good news guys!!!!!

Just called up WellsFargo,, my BD got encashed today (16 Sep)...
i had also called yesterday and they had told it was still not cashed....

so guys they have started putting in the BD's

FYI.. the CIO had received my application on 30 Aug

my title is :business development spcialiest....

duties:
-Responsible for all aspects of developing products including business plan development that includes revenue forecasting, prices, suggested marketing programs if needed.
-Has significant contact with customers at a strategic level, recommends there requirements, and ensure that changing market demands are incorporated into product design/development.
-Create and maintain a strategic products agenda
-Agree with the management on a clear product development strategy.
-Finalization and implement the Full Product Development cycle within in coordination with the BPR department.
-Study and evaluate identified products to be able to start developing products according to the product development process.
-Build business cases for new products.
-Liaises between SD, QA, and Marketing for the development, implementation and communication of product development programs.
-Oversees the design process, development and launch of new product offerings (new products/services, product enhancements.)
-Monitor and report the progress for the launched products and give the needed recommendation for improvements.

Hello amr1001, in my view your duties perfectly fit into 1122. However, you have to take into account that you must be an external consultant to the business and not to be employed by the company. In other words, you have to be self-employed or work for the consulting company that provides services to other business - this is crucial!

And please hurry up, lots of people applying for this NOC and I think that 1000 cap will be reached in this NOC very soon.

u can be consulting for the company u r an employee of

Well, this is my understanding (not necessarily correct) based on the info from NOC official website.

1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management
... They are employed by management consulting firms, advertising agencies and throughout the public and private sectors or are self-employed....

I think you should try anyway, but this is purely your choice of course.

Just sent my application on 23 Sept and i must say i have only 2% hope that it will get through. After reading all the posts above in this thread i really dont think i have any chance. Btw. i am a advertising consultant.
